Safety First they always say! And I must say I agree to a point and then another part of me says, if you wait until everything is perfect you will never do anything. So I say to you safety freaks; Do Not Get Too Concerned with ATV Safety you will take the fun out of it! In other words these machines are made to go balls to the wall and that is what you should do with them.
If you are not going to go for it on your ATV then get out of the way and go by a friggin Golf Cart with five-point safety harness and do not venture off the green. For me I want all the performance mankind can muster on four-wheels because I plan on using it all. Every last ounce of power and agility and to make my ATV run thru its paces. I am just seeing too many old men driving bright yellow corvettes and too many wimps out there riding high-performance ATV like they were tricycles with training wheels. Get real!
High-performance ATVs are made to be ridden not rocked on the porch watching the grass grow. Maybe its just me, but I hate wimps on ATVs who will not yield the trail to those who are here to blaze it. Go ride with the women and children if you cannot compete or are afraid of running over an organic speed bump desert turtle and rolling over and crashing. To me that is just another jump. Consider this in 2006.
